2. Visiting the website
To deliver the page to you, our server has to process your IP address and the requested address. This happens only for the duration of the connection. We do not store access logs with IP addresses. Only technical server errors are logged, without reference to individual visitors.
The server is operated by Hetzner Online GmbH (Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany) in a data center in Germany. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a working, secure website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
3. Name resolution (DNS)
The address easeacc.com is resolved via Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Usually it is the DNS server of your internet provider that asks Cloudflare which server belongs to easeacc.com. Your visits themselves do not pass through Cloudflare but go directly to our server.
4. Cookies and browser storage
This website sets no tracking cookies, which is why there is no cookie banner. Only if you choose a language in the language menu, we remember that choice in a cookie named „ea_lang“ for one year. It contains only the language code (en or de) and is used for nothing else. If you pick a color theme (light or dark) yourself, we remember that choice in your browser's local storage; it never leaves your device. You can delete both at any time through your browser's site data.
5. Contact by form, email or phone
If you write to us or call us, we process your details (such as name, email address, phone number and the content of your message) to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (steps prior to a possible contract) or (f) GDPR (answering general questions). Our mailbox contact@easeacc.com is hosted by Proton AG (Route de la Galaise 32, 1228 Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva, Switzerland); the European Commission recognises Switzerland as providing an adequate level of data protection. Requests that are not related to a contract are kept until they are dealt with and deleted no later than twelve months after the last contact. If a contract follows, the retention periods for contract records apply.
Through the contact form you send us your name, email address, optionally your business and your message. We send these details as an email to our mailbox and do not store them on the website. Sending uses the email service Resend of Plus Five Five, Inc. (2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA). For sending we use the server region Ireland (EU). Resend, however, stores email content and related sending data in the USA, for 30 days on the standard plans. According to Resend, the transfer to the USA is based on the EU standard contractual clauses and on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Resend is certified (list of certified organisations). To prevent abuse, the server briefly counts your IP address in memory (at most one hour, without storing it).
If you explicitly ask us to let you know when EaseAcc is available, we keep your email address for that purpose until we have informed you or you tell us you no longer want this. There is no newsletter.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Just write to contact@easeacc.com. If you believe we are not processing your data correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at) or the supervisory authority in your country.
7. The EaseAcc application
The application is currently available by invitation only. The full privacy policy for the application is under legal review and will be published here before the open launch. For the data a company processes in EaseAcc the data processing agreement applies; the service providers used are listed under Subprocessors.
In short, for the application: the data is stored on servers in Germany. Emails sent from the application and receipts received by email go through Resend (sent via the server region Ireland, stored in the USA, see section 5); we keep only the delivery status, no opens or clicks. Anyone who connects their bank uses Enable Banking Oy (Otakaari 5, 02150 Espoo, Finland), an account information service licensed in the EU. Access is read-only, and you enter your banking credentials only at your bank. Text and receipt recognition run on our own server; we use no AI services. If a company connects an AI assistant through the API itself, it chooses the provider and is responsible for it. Error logs contain no IP addresses and are deleted after 90 days.
